One visit is all it took, but this visit was with the new boyfriend who insisted on the steak and eggs for takeout. We sat at the bar where a White Zinfandel was poured for me by a kind bartender and a beer for him while we waited. Best glass ever! Not sour!
Now that food......although I usually cannot tolerate cigarette smoke, this was worth every bit of the smell I took home with me on my pretty dress.
The potatoes are like Texas. The eggs are like grandma. The toast and butter was like heaven opened and said, "this is what it's like here but you're not ready, so in the meantime.....enjoy." Now the majority of steak which was eaten the next morning on my drive home made me look savage as I drove thru the street lights in Las Vegas to go home.
This place made my transition from Texas to Nevada worthwhile.
People rave about food here in Vegas, but don't know that this hidden treasure is the real deal Holyfield. It's down home.
I'll be back Irene. Hopefully with the new boyfriend that becomes more. But if he can't attend....I'll find my way back to you! -

The prices went up 40 percent and no more taco Tuesday, stay away from the place. Owner has no idea what's going on. This was a local spot with great food and price but not anymore

$1.00 Taco Tuesday!!! Tacos were delicious and service is awesome and fast. Joe is very friendly and attentive. Would definitely come back.

We go in there for Taco Tuesdays, fish Friday's or to have their huge hamburger. Never been disappointed.

Basic bar food, nothing fancy, but very good. Great chicken wings and fries. It's a real hole in the wall, dive bar type place but friendly and clean. I think it used to e a 7-11. Lol.
